Meet the MHS Administration

Dr. Mark Weatherly, MHS Interim Principal

Dr. Mark Weatherly earned his BS in Kinesiology and English from Sul Ross State University, a Master’s Degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and Ed.D. Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.  

Married to Suzanne, a Professor with the Lone Star College system, Mark is the proud father of five, the three oldest being graduates of Montgomery HS! 

This is Mark's first year in Montgomery ISD with 29 years experience in education as an English teacher, coach, Assistant Principal and Principal at the elementary, junior high, and high school levels. Mark was named Texas Association of Secondary School Principals Region 6 High School Principal of the Year in 2017. He is currently the Executive Director of Curriculum & Instruction for Montgomery ISD, Montgomery HS Acting Principal and an adjunct professor for Abilene Christian University. 

Dr. Weatherly is extremely excited to be leading the MHS family for the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year!

Sherri Hardy

Class of 2024 Assistant Principal

Mrs. Hardy earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Houston and Master's Degree at SHSU.

Her passion for serving others led her to teach and coach for 21 years and then into Administration. This is Mrs. Hardy's 31st year in Education and her 8th year in Montgomery ISD.

Mrs. Hardy is married to her husband, Guy and is the parent to two "grown" children, and "GiGi" to four AWESOME grandkids!!!

She can't wait to see what this year holds for all the students at MHS!!

Bill Tommaney

Bill Tommaney

Class of 2023 Associate Principal

Dr. T. will be starting his 7th year in Montgomery ISD and is excited to be returning to Bear Country. The first four years he served as the Associate Principal at MHS then worked at Lake Creek for two years in the same capacity. He is familiar with the rich tradition at Montgomery High School and looks forward to supporting all students in their activities.

He earned his Ph.D. from Texas A&M in Education Administration and cheers for the TCU Horned Frogs, where he earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees.

Dr. Tommaney has been a multi-sport athlete all his life. He played football at TCU and stays active with triathlons--having completed four full Ironmans and twenty 70.3 distance triathlons.

He is looking forward to supporting our teachers and partnering with our parents to help our students succeed at the highest levels possible.

Kevin Winfield

Kevin Winfield

Class of 2025 Assistant Principal

Mr. Winfield earned his Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in 1995 and his Master's degree in Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M. He is starting his 26th year in education including 8 years as an administrator. He has been an Assistant Principal for 5 years at Montgomery JH and is starting his first year at Montgomery HS.

Mr. Winfield has been married for 24 years to his wife Lisa and has two sons a Junior at Texas A&M and a senior in High school.

He enjoys all high school sports and Aggie football.

He is excited to see his students he had at MJH and how they have matured into young adults. He is looking forward to a great school year!
